I am Cherise Atkinson, a multidisciplinary artist in Quincy, California. Abstract art started as a counterbalance to my haircutting career. A way to help navigate the mental and emotional complexities of working so intimately with others.

I create so that experiences, feelings, thoughts and ideas can expand and occupy physical space beyond the mind and body.
